Branş Öğretmelerinde Yapılandırmacı Yaklaşımda Öğretmen Rolleri
Abstract
In the rapid flow of the information age, a new history is being written. Staying passive in this flow, just watching, means not only doing injustice to our past, but also disrespecting our future. Instead of just looking back at the past, we need to understand the elements that shaped it and take steps to build the future. Taking an active role at every step of the way gives us power to shape today and tomorrow. Therefore, we must learn from the past and direct the future by using the opportunities offered by the information age. The developments experienced in the world in the last thirty years have led to radical changes in both national governments and global understanding. The reshaping of social, economic and political relations has led to the introduction of new perspectives and analyzes into education systems. These new perspectives have led to the emergence of new values in education and the review of existing educational structures. This situation has made the restructuring of education systems inevitable. It is often seen that old teaching methods have become a habit for teachers. However, increasing the equipment level of learning environments is an inevitable necessity. The fact that class sizes are not crowded and sufficient time is allocated for learning programs ensures that constructivist learning theory can be applied effectively. Research reveals that the transition from traditional teaching patterns to constructivist learning environments is not easy. Therefore, it is suggested that teachers should prioritize activities that involve task sharing and require cooperation.
