Due to the coronavirus epidemic (Covid-19) affecting the world, it brought forward the interim holiday practice in the first week of April in the second half of the 2019-2020 academic year, and education had to be suspended as of March 16, 2020. After a one-week break, the Ministry of National Education decided to start education as distance education and on March 23, distance education started.The study group of the study consisted of teachers working in a public primary school in Antalya Serik district and parents of students attending this school.The data collection tool of the research is a semi-structured interview form developed on the basis of sub-problems and a satisfaction survey via remote connection. According to the results obtained from the research; In this study, where especially the infrastructure problems came to the fore, the teachers and parents were asked how distance education is made, the advantages it provides, the disadvantages, the problems experienced, the lessons to be learned and the suggestions for the future. Distance education has experienced problems especially due to lack of infrastructure, and situations against the principle of equality in education due to disadvantaged students not being online. Teachers suggested that it is necessary to be prepared for such situations, to strengthen the infrastructure, raise the awareness of teachers, students and parents in the field of informatics, and eliminate the problems of disadvantaged students.
