Abstract

There are many underlying reasons why students exhibit undesirable behaviors, but the impact of teacher behaviors in the classroom on this situation is quite important. Teachers' lack of effective classroom management skills or their failure to exhibit behaviors in accordance with the required qualifications may contribute to students' development of negative behaviors. This is because the role of the teacher is not only to transfer knowledge, but also to model and guide students. Especially primary school children see their teachers as important role models and imitate their behaviors. Therefore, teachers' positive attitudes and behaviors play a critical role in reducing students' misbehavior. It is thought that by following positive examples, students' negative behaviors will decrease. Therefore, it is important for teachers to create a positive impact on students by constantly reviewing their own behavior. In addition to being the most basic building block of education, the classroom is also the environment where students experience their first social interactions and come together. While classroom management used to be associated with teacher authority, today it is defined as creating a positive learning atmosphere. In order to provide this positive environment, the importance of the teacher's skills is emphasized. Therefore, the importance of teachers' skills in management theories, interpersonal interaction, communication and educational psychology is emphasized. Key Words: Classroom Management, Classroom Management Skills.
