Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the technological competencies of the teachers working in Akdeniz District Center. The research was conducted in accordance with the qualitative paradigm. The data were collected with the help of 5-Question interview questions developed by the researcher. According to the results of the research, the fact that effective use of technology in education is a versatile and complex process requires teachers to follow technological developments closely, the reason why teachers 'technological competence levels are generally low in Turkey is that teachers do not receive sufficient level of education and teachers' technological competence levels are raised. It is seen that necessary trainings should be given by organizing seminars.
