Okul Yönetici Görüşlerine Göre Okul Kültürünün Oluşmasını Etkileyen Maddi Unsurların İncelenmesi
Abstract
Success cannot be expected from schools without a positive school culture. This research, which was carried out in order to determine the material elements that affect the formation of school culture in primary schools, with the opinions of school principals, was carried out with 15 school principals in Altındağ district of Ankara province. In the research carried out in the phenomenological design, a semi-structured interview form consisting of 7 questions prepared by the researcher was applied to the participants. The data obtained from the interview form were divided into categories, the frequencies of the views were determined and content analysis was applied to the data. In line with the findings obtained; the physical sufficiency of the school positively affects the formation of school culture, the insufficient of these opportunities affects the formation of school culture negatively, and the financial opportunities such as sports hall, library, football field, conference hall affect the formation of school culture positively; It has been concluded that visual elements such as the school's architecture and logo have a positive effect on the formation of school culture, and that the proficiency of school equipment has an indirect effect on the formation of school culture.
