Okul Yöneticilerinin Mesleki Gelişim Seminerlerine İlişkin Görüşleri
Abstract
Abstract
This study focuses on evaluating the impact of professional development training seminars conducted at educational institutions under the Ministry of National Education (covering kindergarten, primary, middle, and high schools) on teachers, as perceived by school administrators. The research employs qualitative methodology and engages 10 administrators from public schools in Ankara's Sincan district as its participants. Data in this study were analyzed using the content analysis technique. The findings suggest that administrators have specific expectations from these professional development seminars. They believe that these seminars should effectively enlighten teachers, be fully beneficial to administrators, incorporate real-life experiences, be conducted by specialists, include current issues in a discussion-based and collaborative format, and be executed with a serious approach.
