Öğretmen Adaylarının Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Dersine Yönelik Tutumlarının İncelenmesi
Abstract
The aim of the research was to examine the attitudes of teacher candidates towards physical education and sports lessons. For this purpose, survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. The population of the research consists of teacher candidates studying in the classroom teaching and physical education and sports teaching departments of Erciyes University in the 2022-2023 academic year. The samples of the research consist of 260 teacher candidates studying at different grade levels, determined by random sampling method within the population. Physical education course attitude scale was used as a data collection tool in the study. Quantitative data analysis methods were used in the analysis of research data. The data obtained in this context was analyzed using the SPSS24 data analysis program. As a result of the research, it was concluded that there was a significant difference in the attitudes of the teacher candidates who participated in the research towards physical education and sports lessons in terms of the department and class level. On the other hand, there was no significant difference in the attitudes of teacher candidates towards physical education and sports lessons in terms of gender.
