Anaokullarındaki Kamusal (Devlet) Mali Kaynak Sorunlarının Eğitime Yansımalarının Değerlendirilmesi
Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the reflections of public (state) resource problems in kindergartens on education. It is thought that this study will fill a certain gap in the field by obtaining the opinions of teachers on the solution of financial problems of kindergartens and offering solutions to these problems. This study is a case study conducted with a semi-structured interview method based on a qualitative research model, which does not aim to determine the opinions of kindergarten managers on financial problems encountered in kindergartens. The universe of the study is independent kindergartens in the city center (central districts) of Mersin. The sample is kindergartens randomly selected from Toroslar district. In other words, this study was conducted in 8 kindergartens. The managers of 8 kindergartens were interviewed. A semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher was used in the study and the data was analyzed with descriptive analysis method. As a result of the research, it was concluded that school managers experienced various difficulties in the financial management and use of resources of kindergartens; insufficient income obtained from state resources and parent donations, limitations in meeting the basic needs of schools, etc.
