FARKLI LİDERLİK TARZLARININ OKUL İKLİMİNE ETKİSİ
Abstract
This research is a systematic literature review examining the effects of different leadership styles on school climate. Within the scope of the study, articles published between 2014-2024 in national and international databases (TR Index, Google Scholar, ERIC, Web of Science, and Scopus) were examined. Following the literature review, 47 articles meeting the predetermined criteria were included in the study. In the selection of studies, peer-reviewed, full-text accessible research articles addressing school leadership, leadership styles, and school climate were preferred. The PRISMA systematic review protocol was used in the examined studies, and data were analyzed using the meta-synthesis method. Research results showed that particularly transformational and democratic leadership styles create positive effects on school climate. In 78% of the studies examined, leadership style was found to have a significant impact on teacher motivation and student achievement. This systematic review contributes to the field of educational administration by comprehensively revealing the relationship between school administrators' leadership styles and school climate.
