Abstract

authorized teachers bearing the authority of a principal who work in schools offering education in multigrade classes. For this purpose, the study was conducted as qualitative withtwenty-two (22) teachers are competent manager in Andırın in the province of Kahramanmaras. Data were gathered through form method consists of five questions open-ended and group focused interviews. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. At the end of the study, physical deficiencies of multigrade primary school, educational process, material of facilities, lack of materials and problems sourced authorized teachers was uncovered and proposed solutions being introduced. Authorized teachers who participated in the study specified that they experienced deficiencies in the duty of management arising from their undergraduate education. Authorized teachers stated that they were successful in their teaching duties, administration was hard and stressful, and the stress experienced in administration could cause failure in teaching. Authorized teachers pointed out that the schools were located far from the center, which was a disadvantage in solving problems. Having stated the disadvantage, they underlined
the necessity to establish positive communication with other teachers working in the school and the parents in villages. Multigrade primary schools, parents' education negative perspectives, shortage of materials and physical condition, to get together different students who have development characteristics, guidance services cannot be made, in rural areas, lack of budget, health, transportation and communication issues, lack of management's interest are fundamental problems. Another key issue in this school, sending to this school inexperienced teachers in first assignment and wage teachers.
