ANDRAGOJİ TEMELİNDE HAYAT BOYU ÖĞRENME SÜRECİ
Abstract
This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the intricate nature of adult education, focusing on the unique challenges and requirements encountered by adults in their lifelong learning journeys. Employing a literature review and compilation methodology, this research underscores the significance of addressing adult education through andragogical approaches. Andragogy, by leveraging adults' experiences, intrinsic motivations, and readiness to learn, facilitates the transformation of learning into a lifelong endeavor. In this context, the close relationship between adult education activities and lifelong learning highlights the indispensable role of both in individual personal and professional development. While structured adult education activities offer valuable opportunities for lifelong learning, their successful implementation necessitates a paradigm shift from traditional pedagogical approaches to andragogical ones. By providing essential tools and strategies to support adults' lifelong learning journeys, this study aims to serve as a vital resource for educators, policymakers, and adult learners.
