9. SINIF TÜRK DĠLĠ VE EDEBĠYATI DERS KĠTABINDAKĠ HĠKÂYELERĠN METĠN DĠLBĠLĠMSEL AÇIDAN ĠNCELENMESĠ

Abstract

This study aims to examine the stories in the 9th grade Turkish Language and Literature textbook from a text linguistics perspective. First, the concepts of “text” and “text linguistics” are discussed, and the theoretical framework these concepts provide for the analysis of literary texts is explained. The study focuses on cohesion, coherence, narrative structure, language and style, contextual relations and educational functions of texts. The text linguistic approach makes it possible to evaluate linguistic connections, semantic relations, plot, characters and cultural elements in stories in a holistic way. In this context, the stories in the 9th grade Turkish Language and Literature textbook are evaluated in terms of students’ language development, reading comprehension skills, critical thinking tendencies and cultural awareness. The study emphasizes that these stories are not only literary texts but also teaching materials that support students’ linguistic and intellectual development. Text linguistics offers a strong analytical framework that can make the structural and semantic features of textbook stories visible and contribute to the quality of literature education.
