Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine narrative strategies employed by women writers in New Turkish Literature and the forms of social representation constructed through these strategies. The research is conducted using a qualitative approach based on selected novels published after 1980. The analysis focuses on narrative elements such as narrator choice, temporal structure, discursive techniques, and narrative silence in order to explore how women’s experiences are represented in literary texts. The findings reveal that women writers consciously employ narrative strategies to enhance the visibility of female subjectivity and to challenge dominant gender norms. By emphasizing the relationship between narrative form and social representation, the study contributes to women’s writing studies from a narratological perspective.
